Hello! This is the first time I am creating a blog... i hope to record down the ups and downs we experience in buying and renovating our flat.

It all started because we wish to enrol Aaron into a so called "good" school.... for me, i hope to get him into a school with God as an influence in his life.... after thinking through, we decided that Bishan is the best location.... so Bishan, here we come!!! Bidding farewell to the good old Bukit Panjang soon.

25/12/06 - Alan, our ERA agent informed us that there are flats to view in Bishan. We went for mass at Risen Christ, after which lunch at Ponderosa and met up with Alan. Viewed 3 units but either low floor or too expensive!

29/12/06 - Andrew, our ERA agent informed us that there is a flat for sale at Blk 257.

31/12/06 - Majong session at MIL's place. We went to view the Bishan flat at 1pm. Big EM, 151 sq m, lift level.... quite ok but i thought it was a bit cluttered and renovation v old. H/e, KH likes it for the location and facing. We thought over it for a while. Andrew said we can try anything near $460k.

1/1/07 Finally, we plucked up courage to make an offer ...hee hee a major new year decision. Owners reverted that they are ok with the price.

2/1/07 We met up with the owners to sign the OTP. 90 days to exercise the option.... hmmmm.... a bit long

9/2/07 Andrew informed that the owners have found a place in AMK and he will submit for a valuation of the place once confirmed....
